    We welcome visitors for both long and short stays. There are limited funds to contribute to travel and accommodation requirements. There are also grants which can be applied for. Contact the relevant staff member for further details.

    masters degree


    The Cosmology and Gravity Group offers degrees at Masters level, both by dissertation and via coursework and dissertation through the National Astrophysics and Space Science Programme. Funding for NASSP is available for students from Africa. Funding for the standard Masters degree is available for South Africans through the NRF.

    phd


    Degrees at Doctoral level are available. Funding for South Africans is available through the NRF. Funding for students from other African countries is available through National Astrophysics and Space Science Programme. We advertise twice a year for PhDs. Prospective applicants are encouraged to contact staff members in their areas of interet for further details.

    post-doctoral research


    Funding for post-docs on both individual and group grants is available periodically and are advertised widely. Individuals can also apply for the following post-doctoral fellowships:
